The problem

Every apartment has a corner like this.

The wall isn't square. The radiator's in the way. IKEA's closest size is five centimeters off, and a carpenter wants four thousand euros and six weeks. So the corner stays awkward, the shoes stay on the floor, and you promise yourself you'll figure it out next year.

We built knuslabs to figure it out for you.

How it works

From a phone snapshot to ready-to-build, in six steps.

No CAD software. No back-and-forth with carpenters. No power tools at the end.

01

Snap a photo

Take one picture of the space. Phone camera is fine. The wonky angles, the radiator, the molding, all of it helps us see what you see.

02

Measure the space

Three numbers: width, height, depth. Use a tape measure or your phone's LiDAR. We work with whatever you've got.

03

Describe your vision

"Built-in bookshelf with a reading nook." "Bench seat for the entryway." Plain English, as specific or vague as you like.

04

See your options

In minutes, knuslabs generates four custom designs that fit your exact space, in your exact style. Walnut, oak, painted MDF, you choose.

05

Pick the one

Tweak the dimensions, swap the wood, try a different layout. When it feels right, you confirm. We send a final render and the price.

06

Build it without tools

Materials arrive cut, sanded, and finished. Pre-drilled. Numbered. The whole thing snaps together with the included Allen key in an afternoon.

The magic part

Your space goes in. Four real options come out.

Each option is dimensioned to your wall, costed to the cent, and ready to confirm. No CAD. No phone tag. No waiting.

Why knuslabs

It started in a flat where nothing fit.

I moved into a 38 square meter apartment in Amsterdam in 2023. The kind with a slanted ceiling, a brick chimney where you don't expect one, and walls that wave a little when you run a level along them.

I wanted a built-in. Bookshelf, bench, somewhere the cat could sit and judge me. IKEA's nearest size was eleven centimeters off in one direction. The local carpenter quoted forty-five hundred euros and a six-week wait.

So I learned to read CAD files, drove to a wholesaler with a borrowed van, and three weekends later I had something that fit. Six hundred euros in materials. The whole way through I kept thinking: if a tool could do the design and the cut list for me, this would be a Saturday afternoon.

knuslabs is that tool.

Real wood from places we can name.
